Job description
8–12+ years of backend engineering experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
Proven experience in owning critical backend platforms or services end-to-end in production environments.
Strong experience in leading complex technical initiatives across teams without direct authority.
Demonstrated ability to drive architectural decisions balancing scalability, reliability, and business timelines.
Hands-on experience in handling high-scale, low-latency systems with strong focus on performance and resilience.
Experience in leading incident management, production stability improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
Proven track record of mentoring senior engineers and raising overall engineering standards.
Ability to work closely with Product, SRE, Data, and Infra teams to deliver impactful platform capabilities.
Strong experience in defining engineering best practices including design reviews, coding standards, and production readiness processes.
Experience in driving system modernization, reliability engineering, or platform evolution initiatives.
