Job Role :

We are seeking a capable Software Developer to design, build, and maintain applications and services that support Apex Group's data and AI platforms. As the Software Developer, you will work closely with data engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-tested software that integrates with our data products, internal tools, and AI-driven platforms such as NOVA.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services in line with business and technical requirements.

• Build UI for Applications and Data Products

• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following established engineering standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to build integrations between applications and underlying data platforms such as Snowflake.

• Contribute to the design and development of internal tools and APIs that support AI initiatives.

• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across the application stack in a timely manner.

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application reliability and quality.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, working with DevOps and platform teams as needed.

• Document technical designs, application architecture, and code to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

• Ensure applications adhere to security, performance, and data governance standards.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Stay current with emerging development practices, languages, and frameworks relevant to the team's technology stack.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases.

• Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.

• Good understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical issues.

• Understanding of application security best practices and secure coding principles.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

• Proven ability to manage multiple development tasks and meet delivery timelines.

• Experience working within agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing applications that integrate with AI/ML platforms or agents, such as Cortex AI Agents.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.

• Experience working in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
