Designation: System Engineer

Position description: Performs routine engineering assignments of an analysis, design or test nature requiring application of specific standard techniques and procedures. Documents usable engineering data applicable to the assignment. Should work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers. Should assist with the analyses to develop design options or recommendations and may assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications on low level projects. Detailed review of technical specifications and engineering requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs routine engineering assignments of an analysis, design or test nature requiring application of specific standard techniques and procedures. Documents usable engineering data applicable to the assignment. Should work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers. Should assist with the analyses to develop design options or recommendations and may assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications on low level projects. Detailed review of technical specifications and engineering requirements.

Position Specific Requirements:

1) System design, development, assembly and testing of C-Band Air Data Terminal and Ku-Band Ground Data Terminal
2) Documentation activities
3) Consistent cross functional team follow up

Position Specific Skills:

• Experience in RF & Communication related products and architecture.
• Understanding of Modem, RF Transmitter and Receiver chains, Antenna, Antenna Pointing system.
• Digital Communication and modulation schemes.
• Knowledge about Product lifecycle.
• Basic understanding of Gimbal platforms mechanism.
• Analytical Thinking & Design capability: Ability to understand the radar functionalities and design systems. Ability to solve complex, multi-disciplinary problems.
• Testing Capability : Defining and executing test plans, including simulations.
• Validation: Performance verification in lab and field trials, including antenna pattern testing and target detection analysis.
• Communication: Effective reporting of technical data to stakeholders and working with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-paced environments
