Job description
Designation : Senior Developer - Data Engineering
Level : L2
Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka , India.
Experience : 3 to 6 Years.
Job Role :
Responsible for developing scalable and reliable data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Workflows. Build and optimize Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers while ensuring data quality, performance, and operational stability. Collaborate with Leads and Architects to implement technical solutions and resolve complex data engineering challenges. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to development standards and best practices.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and Workflows.
2. Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes across multiple source systems.
3. Build and optimize Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers following Lakehouse best practices.
4. Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and cost optimization of Databricks workloads.
5. Implement data quality, validation, error handling, and monitoring mechanisms across pipelines.
6. Collaborate with Leads, Architects, and business teams to deliver reliable and production-ready data solutions.
Required skills :
SQL, Pyspark, Databricks,Data Warehousing, Data Marts and Business Intelligence, Snowflake.
