We are looking for an Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale the automation that resolves employee IT requests without a support agent stepping in. You will build automated workflows across our conversational AI assistant and our IT service management platform, develop the API integrations that let those workflows take action in other systems, and create the reporting that measures their impact. Working closely with the IT Support team, you will identify manual, repetitive requests, turn them into reliable end-to-end automations, and continuously improve them based on real ticket data. Success in this role is measured by a steady increase in the share of requests resolved automatically.

What You Will Do

Design and build end-to-end automated workflows in our conversational AI assistant to resolve common IT requests, such as access, hardware, onboarding, offboarding, and software.

Develop API integrations that connect these workflows to other systems.

Configure and maintain automations in our IT service management platform, including ticket routing, triggers, and self-service request forms.

Write custom scripts and code to integrate systems where no out-of-the-box connector exists.

Use SQL to check how your automations are performing and pinpoint where they fail.

Analyze requests that were not automated, identify the gaps, and build new automations to close them.

Document your work so the team can operate, maintain, and extend it.

Responsibilities :

4-7 years building automations, integrations, or workflow tools.

Strong with at least one scripting language (Python preferred) and comfortable building integrations against REST APIs, including authentication, paging through results, error handling, and retries.

SQL strong enough to write and debug reporting queries. Experience with Databricks SQL is a plus.

Experience with an IT service management or ticketing platform (Freshservice, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar).

Works independently: can take a loosely defined problem, make sensible decisions on your own, and ship a working automation with little day-to-day oversight.

Excellent written and spoken English. You will work directly with our team and with stakeholders, so you need to explain your work clearly, ask good questions, take direction well, and write scope and status updates that others can follow.

Nice to Have

Experience with a conversational AI, chatbot, or virtual-agent platform.

Familiarity with IT support operations.

Experience connecting to identity and access systems (for example, Okta or a similar tool).

Experience with a data warehouse or business-intelligence tooling.

Required skills :
