Job Purpose

Ø Preventive maintenance of Plant machinery and utility.

Ø Break down maintenance of plant maintenance and utility.

Ø Validate and ensure legal compliance of electrical Department.

Ø Explore and implement energy saving projects.

Ø Identify bottleneck, modification in machine/equipment as per process requirement to improve productivity and quality.

Ø Ensure safety and training of subordinate for skill development.

Ø Increase service level by reducing MTTR & By increasing MTBF

Ø Process developments for quality, productivity. process time

Ø Undertake projects to achieve zero incident and to reduce consumption of natural resources

To ensure minimum numbers of machine break down by doing prevention maintenance

To create incident free and pollution free environment for Zero incident and zero pollution.

To decide to replace parts as per life cycle

To complete the project within stipulated time.

Assign job to peer member as per priority based on daily meeting, pending job Break down maintenance of plant maintenance and utility.

To monitor proper working of utility plant.

To verify the utilities required for the plant with due discussion with seniors.

Execution of Scheduled Preventive Maintenance

Execution of scheduled prevention maintenance.

Development & Modification for repetitive problems

Safety related point to achieve zero accident

Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual

Cost --reduce maintenance spare cost and service cost, minimization of inventory

Arrange training of safety/machine and utility related

Development- Process development and energy saving projects

Requirements&Skills

a. Educational Qualifications and Experience

BE/diploma Mechanical with 02 to 7 Yrs. of experience

b. Functional Skills

1. Technical Knowledge of handling preventive and maintenance activity of utility viz RO/Softener/Compressor/DG set/UPS/ Sub-station etc.

2. Knowledge of control logic and understand electrical schematic drawing.

3. Technical Knowledge & proficiency of maintenance activity of heavy engineering industry.

4. Knowledge of system (ERP) and preparation of MIS.

5. Analysis of expenses and plan budgetary expenses.

a) Availability of Spares & critical Spares.

b) To raise the PR for the Material Required and issue the Same as per requirements for Maintenance activity.
