The QC/QA Executive will conduct inspections, perform testing, and collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality specifications. This role requires a proactive approach to identify areas for improvement in processes and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes and results.
- Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality management systems and procedures.
- Perform root cause analysis for any quality deviations and report findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes.
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools (e.g., statistical analysis software, inspection tools).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Chemistry).
- Previous experience in quality control or assurance roles preferred.
- Certifications related to quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certification) are a plus.
