Solution Architect – Data Engineering (Snowflake & AWS)

Job Location: Bangalore

A hands-on Solution Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake, AWS, Data Engineering, and Analytics, capable of designing scalable, secure, and business-focused data platforms while providing strong technical leadership and governance across enterprise transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Define end-to-end architectures for data platforms, analytics, and reporting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Establish architecture standards, reusable patterns, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Data Engineering & Analytics

• Design modern Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric architectures.
• Architect batch and real-time data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.
• Define enterprise data integration, modelling, and data-sharing strategies.
• Drive cloud migration and legacy data platform modernisation initiatives.

Cloud & Platform Architecture

Design cloud-native solutions using Snowflake and AWS.

Architect solutions leveraging:

Snowflake

Amazon S3

AWS Glue

Redshift

EMR

Lake Formation

Lambda

IAM

Kinesis

Ensure scalability, reliability, security, disaster recovery, and cost optimisation.

Data Governance & Security

• Define data governance frameworks covering ownership, metadata, lineage, data quality, and access management.
• Implement security controls including RBAC, encryption, masking, audit, and compliance standards.
• Design secure data-sharing architectures across business units, customers, and partners.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Lead architects, engineers, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Mentor technical teams and drive adoption of engineering best practices.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and solution design sessions.
• Support pre-sales, solution estimation, proposals, and client presentations.
