Job Purpose	We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer (Java Developer) with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle Database, and Microservices Architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions and support. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to software engineering best practices and organizational standards.
Duties and Responsibilities	• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate. • Strong Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. • Design and optimize database interactions using Oracle Database. • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned database solutions. • Monitor and improve database performance and application response times. • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security. • Maintain documentation for code, processes, and systems. • Identify performance enhancement opportunities and define automation process around it • Work with source control and CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment. • Utilize tools such as Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, Maven, and Gradle during the development lifecycle. • Support deployment, release management, and production issue resolution activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience	PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION • 5–7 years of professional experience in Java development • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above). • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA. • Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful Web Services. • Experience with Oracle Database, including query optimization and performance tuning. • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns. • Experience with Maven and/or Gradle build tools. • Understanding of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices. • Familiarity with application monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting techniques. KEY TRAITS • Must be able to think beyond obvious and find out innovative ways to deliver in tight timelines and chaotic environments. • Provide required support and inputs to the team members. Ensure that the Company’ standards and procedures are being followed across process. • Enthusiastic, highly motivated and very detail-oriented individual - positive, “can do” attitude. • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and demanding environment. • Excellent communication skills and able to handle chaos and navigate through it .
