Senior Software Developer (.Net/C#)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Developer (.Net/C#) based in India.

This is a senior software engineering role focused on developing scalable web applications, APIs, and SaaS products.
You will take ownership of technical designs at the EPIC level and contribute to the evolution of the development team's architecture and engineering practices.
The role combines hands-on technical expertise with mentoring, code quality, technical debt management, and delivery of product initiatives.
You will work with a modern technology stack spanning .NET, C#, React, Azure, SQL Server, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes.
You will also contribute to root cause analysis, technology evaluation, recruitment activities, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.

• Propose, review, and take ownership of technical designs at the EPIC level, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with product objectives.
• Contribute to development standards, code review practices, and engineering best practices across the team.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers, supporting their technical development and helping strengthen overall engineering capabilities.
• Take responsibility for delivering root cause analyses when requested and contribute to long-term corrective actions.
• Apply Software Development Lifecycle best practices, design patterns, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design, and clean-code practices throughout development activities.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap by translating Product Owner priorities and product vision into effective technical solutions.
• Identify technical debt within the development team and contribute to evaluating and prioritizing remediation initiatives.
• Participate in recruitment activities and second-stage technical interviews when required.
• Monitor emerging technologies, innovative approaches, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improving the team's technology landscape.
• Collaborate with development and product stakeholders to support high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience developing web applications, APIs, and SaaS products.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of SOLID and Domain-Driven Design principles, with a strong focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, and React.
• Experience with Entity Framework, NHibernate, or comparable ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and modern development and delivery practices.
• Strong experience working with SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or comparable messaging technologies.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar container orchestration environments.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SDLC practices, and technical debt management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to conduct and communicate root cause analyses.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with an international, English-speaking customer base.
• Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or university qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong mentoring, collaboration, ownership, and technical leadership skills.
