As a Snowflake Databricks AI Manager you will design and build data infrastructure and data pipelines that turn raw information into practical insights for clients in oil and gas, within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior professionals, manage project workstreams, and apply sound judgment while navigating complex delivery needs, client priorities, and evolving technology tools. In this role at PwC, you will shape data integration and transformation solutions, support planning and execution across multiple deliverables, and help develop a team culture centered on accountability, learning, and consistent delivery.
Responsibilities
- Leading Snowflake and Databricks data engineering workstreams across client engagements
- Managing planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery for data platform initiatives
- Developing data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation logic to move information from source systems into analytics environments
- Designing data architecture, modeling structures, and warehouse patterns that support reporting and machine learning use cases
- Applying AI tools and automation techniques to improve pipeline development, data validation, and operational efficiency
- Overseeing performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting across Snowflake and Databricks environments
- Validating data quality, security controls, and governance practices throughout the full data lifecycle
- Coaching team members, reviewing deliverables, and using feedback sessions to strengthen technical skills
- Identifying client needs in oil and gas data modernization programs and translating them into scalable engineering solutions
- Addressing delivery risks, technical issues, and cross-team dependencies while maintaining alignment on scope and timelines
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics

- Leveraging AI concepts in oil and gas data engineering solutions
- Leading project planning, budgeting, and execution for client workstreams
- Mentoring junior team members through feedback and work reviews
- Applying data architecture, modeling, and integration skills in cloud environments
- Translating business needs into scalable data pipelines and analytics
