4. Job Role & Responsibilities
Role: CAE Engineer (Durability)
Responsibilities:
▪ Virtual validation (FEA) of full vehicle & its structural parts
▪ Fatigue calculations for dynamic loads
▪ Correlation with testing
5. Competency Requirements
Technical / Functional
▪ Exposure to CAE (FEA) tools / techniques and domains
(like durability, NVH)
▪ Awareness about automotive systems (1–2 yrs)
Behavioral
▪ Zeal for learning, Adaptability to change
▪ Taking initiative and desire to transform concepts to reality
▪ Effective communication with team, peers and seniors
Specific expertise required for functional area
▪ Experience with any of following softwares preferable:
Altair/hyperworks, ANSYS, Nastran etc.
