Job Summary : Security Operations Engineer responsible for Tier 2/Tier 3 support and administration of enterprise security platforms including Zscaler, Mimecast, CyberArk, DigiCert, F5 WAF, and Illumio. The role focuses on incident resolution, vulnerability management, certificate lifecycle management, security operations, troubleshooting, and ensuring the availability, compliance, and operational effectiveness of security services in a large enterprise environment. Job Description : Security Operations Engineer\\\\r\\\\nPosition Summary\\\\r\\\\nWe are seeking a Security Operations Engineer with 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise security technologies. This role will be responsible for day-to-day operational support, incident management, troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, and administration of security platforms. The primary objective of this role is to help manage daily operational activities and provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for security services while ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational excellence.\\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n• Manage day-to-day security operations through Incident, Request (RITM), Change, and Problem Management processes using ServiceNow.\\\\r\\\\n• Investigate and resolve operational issues related to VPN connectivity, email delivery, certificate services, web application security, endpoint security, and network segmentation technologies.\\\\r\\\\n• Support enterprise security platforms including:\\\\r\\\\no Secure Remote Access / Zero Trust Network Access (e.g., Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX)\\\\r\\\\no Email Security (e.g., Mimecast, Varonis Email Security)\\\\r\\\\no Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Management (e.g., DigiCert, CyberArk PKI)\\\\r\\\\no Web Application Firewall (e.g., F5 WAF)\\\\r\\\\no Microsegmentation (e.g., Illumio)\\\\r\\\\no Endpoint Privilege Management and Application Control (e.g., CyberArk EPM)\\\\r\\\\n• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for user-impacting issues and service disruptions.\\\\r\\\\n• Support certificate lifecycle management activities including certificate issuance, renewal, replacement, revocation, inventory management, and expiration tracking.\\\\r\\\\n• Assist with endpoint application allow/block requests, policy administration, and exception management.\\\\r\\\\n• Monitor platform health, endpoint coverage, policy compliance, and operational effectiveness across supported security tools.\\\\r\\\\n• Partner with infrastructure, network, endpoint, and application teams to resolve cross-functional issues.\\\\r\\\\n• Coordinate with vendors for escalations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.\\\\r\\\\n• Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.\\\\r\\\\n• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.\\\\r\\\\nVulnerability Management Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n• Own vulnerability management activities for all supported security platforms.\\\\r\\\\n• Review vulnerability scan results, vendor advisories, and security bulletins affecting security technologies.\\\\r\\\\n• Assess risk, coordinate remediation activities, and track vulnerabilities through closure.\\\\r\\\\n• Partner with platform owners, infrastructure teams, and vendors to validate fixes and remediation plans.\\\\r\\\\n• Ensure supported security tools remain compliant with internal security standards and patch management requirements.\\\\r\\\\n• Provide reporting and metrics on vulnerability remediation status and risk reduction efforts.\\\\r\\\\nRequired Qualifications\\\\r\\\\n• 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or Information Security.\\\\r\\\\n• Experience supporting one or more of the following security domains:\\\\r\\\\no Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), VPN, or Secure Remote Access\\\\r\\\\no Email Security\\\\r\\\\no PKI and Certificate Management\\\\r\\\\no Web Application Security\\\\r\\\\no Microsegmentation\

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 operational support for enterprise security platforms. Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problem tickets through ServiceNow. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VPN, email security, PKI/certificates, WAF, endpoint security, and microsegmentation. Administer and maintain security technologies including Zscaler, Mimecast, CyberArk, DigiCert, F5 WAF, and Illumio. Manage the complete certificate lifecycle, including issuance, renewal, replacement, revocation, and tracking. Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of security service disruptions. Own vulnerability management activities, including assessment, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting. Monitor platform health, security policy compliance, and operational effectiveness. Collaborate with infrastructure, network, application teams, and vendors to resolve complex issues. Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles while driving process improvements and automation.

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : • 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or Information Security. • Experience supporting one or more of the following security domains: o Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), VPN, or Secure Remote Access o Email Security o PKI and Certificate Management o Web Application Security o Microsegmentation o Endpoint Security and Privileged Access Management • Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), Mimecast, Illumio, F5 WAF, DigiCert, CyberArk PKI, CyberArk EPM, or similar enterprise security platforms. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis. • Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSL/TLS, VPN technologies, authentication protocols, GRE, and IPSec. • Experience using troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, packet captures, and log analysis tools. • Experience managing vulnerability remediation activities for enterprise security technologies. • Experience working within ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. • Experience supporting Incident, Request (RITM), Change, and Problem Management processes. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
