Job Description\\\\r\\\\nThe Cloud Architect will be responsible for the creation of a technology framework and providing technical leadership in support of AJG initiatives in cloud computing and automation, with a focus on the design of systems and services that run on cloud platforms. Lead technical teams across the across the organization to achieve cloud transformation goal. Coach members of the team, drive solutions forward and be able to take a pragmatic approach to ensure success in challenging environments.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nRole and Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n• Leading and architecting Azure cloud solutions in enterprise environments\\\\r\\\\n• Taking responsibility for the end-to-end technical solution\\\\r\\\\n• Technical leader and providing guidance to all cloud projects\\\\r\\\\n• Analyzing divisional business requirements and translating these to the right technical solution\\\\r\\\\n• Leading divisional workshops and working as part of agile teams\\\\r\\\\n• Documenting technical strategy, solutions and reviewing component designs\\\\r\\\\n• Actively sharing knowledge within the team and cloud Community\\\\r\\\\n• Contribute to DevOps development activities and complex development tasks \\\\r\\\\n• Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for cloud applications\\\\r\\\\n• Work on designing/implementing/automation procedures for deployment, configuration, patching and upgrading of systems and applications\\\\r\\\\n• Conduct analysis of production systems and performance testing results to identify areas of improvement within the application or infrastructure\\\\r\\\\n• Conduct feasibility studies for existing and emerging cloud technologies\\\\r\\\\n• Provide mentoring and guidance for mid and junior level staff, offering feedback targeted at individual development\\\\r\\\\n• Work closely with vendors, internal groups, and outside agencies to provide technical leadership and solutions\\\\r\\\\n• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.\\\\r\\\\n• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes\\\\r\\\\n• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.\\\\r\\\\n• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.\\\\r\\\\n• \\\\r\\\\nSkills and Qualifications\\\\r\\\\n• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience\\\\r\\\\n• 8+ years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical cloud architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations \\\\r\\\\n• Experience with Azure Shell scripting/PowerShell scripting\\\\r\\\\n• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments \\\\r\\\\n• Knowledge of all components of technical architecture \\\\r\\\\n• Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes \\\\r\\\\n• Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies \\\\r\\\\n• Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/server\\\\r\\\\n• Strong client-facing consultative skills, able to act as a customer advocate;\\\\r\\\\n• Understanding of Windows Server architecture –Windows 2016, Windows 2019 and IIS;\\\\r\\\\n• Understanding of Linux Server architecture – RHEL, Oracle Linux, Amazon Linux, etc.\\\\r\\\\n• Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies;\\\\r\\\\n• Familiar with one or more server-side scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash)\\\\r\\\\n• Familiarity with server hardware selection, design and troubleshooting;\\\\r\\\\n• Understanding of High Availability and Networked Storage solutions including Clustering, Failover and Disaster Recovery products and concepts such as MS Clustering n
