Job Summary
Requirements:Strong Python (w/ VSCode Copilot) and TCL experienceNeeds a strong conceptual understanding of building data-driven software systems, including experience with data storage (e.g., SQL databases), Python-based backend frameworks (such as Flask or equivalent), and modern data visualization platformsSome static timing or physical design experience is a plus but not a requirementSomeone more savvy with AI tools and building software platforms. We are ok if they lack strong STA skills and can help bridge the gap, but they should be eager to learnFamiliarity with AI tools for coding/compiling. Knowledge of MCP servers is bonusFamiliarity with Azure DevOps, git versioning, LSF job schedulerBuilding run-to-run regression infrastructureShould demonstrate a strong drive to learn and take ownership in building and scaling software infrastructure for the STA team
Key Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop data-driven software systems to support STA and design workflowsBuild and maintain Python-based backend services (Flask or equivalent frameworks)Develop and scale run-to-run regression infrastructureIntegrate and manage data storage systems (SQL or similar databases)Create dashboards and insights using modern data visualization toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge software and STA domain gapsLeverage AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate development and improve code qualityMaintain and enhance CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOpsWork with LSF job scheduler and distributed compute environmentsEnsure code quality through version control (Git) and best practicesTake ownership of systems and continuously improve scalability, reliability, and performance
