We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Developer with 9+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience and 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow Vulnerability Response solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing vulnerability management capabilities within the ServiceNow SecOps ecosystem, integrating vulnerability scanners, automating remediation workflows, and enabling enterprise-wide vulnerability governance.
The candidate should possess strong expertise in ServiceNow development, integrations, security operations, vulnerability management processes, and workflow automation to drive efficient risk reduction and remediation management.
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Developer with 9+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience and 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow Vulnerability Response solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing vulnerability management capabilities within the ServiceNow SecOps ecosystem, integrating vulnerability scanners, automating remediation workflows, and enabling enterprise-wide vulnerability governance. The candidate should possess strong expertise in ServiceNow development, integrations, security operations, vulnerability management processes, and workflow automation to drive efficient risk reduction and remediation management. Key Responsibilities ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Development Design, configure, implement, and maintain ServiceNow Vulnerability Response solutions. Develop and enhance Vulnerability Response capabilities including: Vulnerability Group Management Vulnerable Item Management Remediation Tasks Risk Prioritization Vulnerability Workspaces Exception and Deferral Management Vulnerability Reporting and Dashboards Configure vulnerability calculation rules, assignment rules, SLAs, and risk scoring mechanisms. Automate vulnerability lifecycle management from detection through remediation and closure. Security Integrations Configure and maintain integrations with vulnerability scanning tools such as: Tenable.sc / Tenable.io Qualys Rapid7 InsightVM Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management CrowdStrike Falcon Exposure Management Wiz and other cloud security platforms Develop REST/SOAP API integrations with enterprise security tools. Configure bi-directional integrations for ticketing and remediation tracking. ServiceNow Platform Development Develop and maintain: Business Rules Client Scripts Script Includes UI Policies UI Actions ACLs Flow Designer Flows Integration Hub Solutions Build custom workflows and automation for vulnerability remediation. Customize forms, lists, workspaces, and user interfaces based on business requirements. Support platform upgrades and application enhancements. Reporting & Analytics Develop executive dashboards and operational reports. Configure Performance Analytics indicators and vulnerability metrics. Create risk-based reporting for: Critical Vulnerabilities SLA Compliance Remediation Trends Asset Exposure Vulnerability Aging Enable KPI and compliance reporting for security leadership teams. Technical Leadership Collaborate with Security Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams. Participate in solution design workshops and architecture reviews. Prepare technical design documents and implementation plans. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews. Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development and security best practices.
ServiceNow Platform Expertise Strong hands-on experience with: Flow Designer Integration Hub Business Rules Script Includes Client Scripts Service Portal ACLs Scheduled Jobs Notifications REST Message Integrations CMDB Discovery Performance Analytics ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) Strong expertise in: Vulnerability Response (VR) Security Incident Response (preferred) Threat Intelligence (preferred) CMDB and CSDM alignment Knowledge of ServiceNow SecOps architecture and best practices. Experience configuring vulnerability prioritization and remediation workflows. Vulnerability Management Strong understanding of: CVSS Scoring Vulnerability Risk Ratings Vulnerability Lifecycle Management Security Compliance Requirements Asset Criticality Models Risk-Based Vulnerability Management Experience working with enterprise Vulnerability Management programs. Integrations & Scripting Advanced JavaScript development within ServiceNow. Experience with: REST APIs SOAP APIs JSON XML MID Server Configuration Experience integrating ServiceNow with security and infrastructure management tools. DevOps & Agile Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD implementation in ServiceNow. Experience with source control and application deployment practices.
Other requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field. 9+ years of ServiceNow development experience. 5+ years of ServiceNow Vulnerability Response development and implementation experience. Experience working in large enterprise ServiceNow environments. Experience collaborating with Cybersecurity and Vulnerability Management teams.
