Looking for DBA - Design and implement Database , exp in Liquibase Administration, DBA Automation, SQL Development & Optimization and production Support
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Database DevOps & Release Management
- Design and implement Database CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate database deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Implement and manage database version control using Liquibase.
- Create deployment, rollback, and hotfix strategies for database releases.
- Integrate Liquibase with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab pipelines.
- Standardize database change management processes.
- Ensure auditability and compliance of database releases.
Liquibase Administration
- Create and maintain Liquibase changelog files.
- Manage schema migration scripts using XML, YAML, SQL, or JSON changelogs.
- Handle incremental database versioning and release tracking.
- Develop rollback scripts and recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot Liquibase deployment failures and migration issues.
- Optimize Liquibase deployment processes for large-scale enterprise databases.
DBA Automation
- Develop and maintain DBA utility scripts using SQL, Shell, PowerShell, or Python.
- Automate:
- Database health checks
- Backup validation
- Space monitoring
- Index maintenance
- Database refresh activities
- User access management
- Performance reporting
- Create monitoring and alerting solutions for database platforms.
- Build automation frameworks for routine DBA operations.
SQL Development & Optimization
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and packages.
- Analyze and optimize SQL performance.
- Review database code for performance and security standards.
- Support application teams in query tuning and troubleshooting.
- Implement indexing and partitioning strategies.
Production Support
- Provide L2/L3 support for critical database environments.
- Participate in release and deployment activities.
- Perform root cause analysis for database incidents.
- Support disaster recovery exercises and failover testing.
- Ensure database availability, integrity, and security.
