Key Responsibilities Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Operations Support Azure Virtual Desktop environments. Monitor and maintain: Host Pools Session Hosts Application Groups Workspaces RemoteApp Services Troubleshoot: Session connectivity issues Login failures User assignment issues Host registration issues Session performance issues Support daily operational activities within AVD environments. Nerdio Administration Support daily operations using Nerdio Manager for Enterprise. Monitor host pool health and virtual machine status. Assist with: Autoscaling operations Session host management Image deployment activities VM lifecycle management Troubleshoot Nerdio operational alerts and platform issues. Support reporting and operational governance activities. Citrix Operations Support Support: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops Citrix DaaS Citrix Cloud StoreFront Citrix Director Delivery Controllers Citrix Gateway Troubleshoot: Application launch failures Session disconnections User access issues Published application issues Printing issues Resolve day-to-day Citrix operational incidents. The virtual workplace service stack includes Citrix Cloud, Citrix-based Virtual Client and Application Services (VCAS), AVD, and associated virtual desktop platforms. User Profile Management (FSLogix) Support FSLogix Profile Containers and Office Containers. Troubleshoot: Profile attachment failures Slow logons Profile corruption issues Outlook and Office container issues Escalate complex profile-related issues to L3 teams. Support profile storage monitoring activities. Application Delivery & Image Support Support application delivery through: Citrix Published Applications RemoteApp Virtual Desktop Images Assist with: Golden image updates Image validation Application testing Deployment verification Troubleshoot application availability and application launch issues. Platform Monitoring & Performance Monitor: Session counts Session host health Resource utilization Login performance Service availability Identify potential service degradation. Escalate performance issues proactively. Participate in capacity and performance reviews. Incident & Request Management Resolve L2 incidents and requests for: Citrix AVD Nerdio FSLogix Application Delivery User Profile Issues Virtual Desktop Performance Perform root cause investigations. Work with L3 teams on complex issues. Meet agreed SLA commitments. Access & Identity Support Support user access management for VDI environments. Troubleshoot: Authentication issues Entra ID integration issues Active Directory account issues Group membership issues Support MFA and conditional access related incidents. Security & Compliance Support security standards across virtual desktop platforms. Monitor compliance status and configuration baselines. Support vulnerability remediation activities. Assist with audit evidence collection and operational reviews. Follow organizational security and access management policies. Reporting & Governance Generate and maintain: Operational reports Availability reports Incident summaries User utilization reports Participate in service review meetings. Maintain operational documentation and dashboards. Documentation & Knowledge Management Create and maintain: SOPs Runbooks Knowledge Articles Troubleshooting Guides Maintain platform operational documentation. Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
