Job Summary

Identity Governance Migration Architect (L4) Lot 3 – Identity Governance Migration (EmpowerID to Microsoft Entra ID Governance) Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore Experience: 12–15+ Years Role Summary The Identity Governance Migration Architect (L4) will provide strategic and technical leadership for the migration of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) services from EmpowerID to Microsoft Entra ID Governance. The role will be accountable for defining the migration architecture, governance framework, operating model, security controls, and transformation roadmap while ensuring alignment with business, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities • Define the target-state Identity Governance architecture and migration strategy for transitioning from EmpowerID to Microsoft Entra ID Governance. • Lead architecture assessments covering identity lifecycle management, access governance, entitlement management, role-based access control, privileged access, and compliance processes. • Establish migration roadmaps, governance frameworks, design standards, and implementation approaches for enterprise-wide adoption. • Drive architectural decisions for Entra ID Governance capabilities, including Entitlement Management, Access Reviews, Lifecycle Workflows, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Security. • Work closely with Security, IAM, Infrastructure, HR, Compliance, Application Owners, and Business stakeholders to ensure migration requirements are addressed. • Define role models, governance structures, approval workflows, segregation of duties controls, and access certification processes. • Lead solution design reviews, architecture governance boards, and technical assurance activities throughout the program lifecycle. • Oversee migration planning, testing strategy, deployment governance, cutover planning, and post-migration stabilization activities. • Ensure compliance with security frameworks, audit requirements, regulatory obligations, and enterprise identity standards. • Drive automation and modernization initiatives to improve identity governance efficiency, compliance, and operational effectiveness. • Provide executive-level reporting, architecture recommendations, risk assessments, and governance updates to leadership stakeholders. • Mentor IAM architects, migration leads, and engineering teams while promoting identity governance best practices.
