Job Summary
Microsoft Teams & RTC Platform Engineer Job Summary Lead the engineering, administration, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Teams and Real-Time Communication (RTC) platforms across the enterprise. Design, implement, and support Teams collaboration services, meeting experiences, voice, video, and integrated communication solutions. Provide technical leadership for Teams ecosystem tools including Kollective, ThousandEyes, and Slido to enhance performance, observability, and user experience. Deliver infrastructure engineering, platform modernization, and service development initiatives aligned with business requirements. Ensure platform availability, reliability, security, and compliance while supporting enterprise-scale collaboration services. Drive complex troubleshooting, incident resolution, change implementation, and operational excellence across the communication estate. Partner with business stakeholders, security teams, and technology teams to provide technical guidance and strategic roadmap recommendations. Key Responsibilities
Kollective, ThousandEyes, and Slido services, ensuring seamless integration and performance visibility. Lead complex troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, major incident resolution, and permanent fix implementation. Plan and execute platform upgrades, releases, migrations, and change activities following enterprise governance processes. Collaborate with security, risk, compliance, and architecture teams to ensure adherence to enterprise policies and regulatory requirements. Develop operational standards, documentation, knowledge articles, and best practices while mentoring junior engineers and support teams. Skill Requirements Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and service engineering. Deep understanding of RTC technologies, voice, video, conferencing, media optimization, and collaboration platforms. Experience with Kollective, ThousandEyes, and Slido administration, monitoring, and performance optimization. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, Azure AD/Entra ID, identity management, authentication, and access control mechanisms. Expertise in infrastructure engineering, service development, platform reliability, monitoring, and operational support.
Skill Requirements
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience resolving complex technical issues across enterprise environments. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Technical Certifications Need to Have Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) ITIL Foundation Certification Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking certification Experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms in production environments Good to Have Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) Microsoft Certified:
