Sr Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead and manage networking projects, operational activities, and technical teams. The role involves overseeing end-to-end network deployment, operations, maintenance, resource planning, vendor coordination, and project delivery while ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead networking infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and status reporting.

Network Operations Management

• Manage operations of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, and enterprise network environments.
• Oversee network performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Ensure high network availability, reliability, and security.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Implement network optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor network engineers, project coordinators, and support teams.
• Define performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Facilitate technical training and skill development programs.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage third-party service providers and contractor performance.
• Coordinate with business units to understand technical requirements and operational needs.
• Present project updates and operational reports to management.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and organizational policies.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Manage audit requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
• Ensure implementation of cybersecurity best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related field.
• 8-15 years of experience in networking, Telecom and technical operations.
• Having experience of managing Telecom projects and handling a larger technical team.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies, Data Center, Cloud and other telecom technologies.
