We are looking for an SAP BASIS Administrator with 3–5 years of experience in SAP system administration, monitoring, installation, upgrades, and support activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and smooth operation of SAP landscapes across development, quality, and production environments.
Perform SAP system administration activities across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, and related SAP systems. Manage SAP installations, system copies, refreshes, upgrades, and kernel upgrades. Monitor system health, performance, background jobs, work processes, and database activities. Perform client administration, transport management, and user administration. Support SAP patching, support package implementation, and software maintenance activities. Analyze and troubleshoot SAP Basis-related incidents and performance issues. Work closely with functional, development, infrastructure, and database teams. Ensure compliance with security, audit, backup, and disaster recovery requirements. Support high-availability and system performance optimization initiatives. Required Skills 3–5 years of hands-on SAP BASIS administration experience. Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Architecture. Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments. Expertise in Transport Management System (TMS), client administration, and printer setup. Experience in system monitoring and performance tuning. Knowledge of SAP user administration, role management, and authorization concepts. Understanding of database administration activities (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2). Experience with system refreshes, upgrades, and migration activities. Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems. Preferred Skills Exposure to SAP HANA Administration. Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM processes. Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). Understanding of SAP security and GRC concepts. SAP BASIS or SAP HANA certification is an added advantage. Roles & Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 support for SAP BASIS-related incidents and service requests. Monitor system availability and ensure SLA compliance. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures. Plan and Perform SAP system administration activities across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, and related SAP systems.
