Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAPUI5/Fiori, Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), and cloud-native database development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications on SAP BTP while leveraging SAP HANA Cloud and SAP's modern development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop cloud-native applications using SAP BTP services and capabilities.
Build responsive and user-friendly applications using SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
Develop backend services using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) with Node.js
Design and implement data models, CDS entities, and service definitions within CAP applications.
Good to have knowledge on SAP HANA Cloud, including database artifacts, SQL, views, and procedures.
Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, OData services, REST services, and SAP Integration Suite.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications across SAP BTP subaccounts and landscapes.
Implement authentication and authorization using SAP IAS, XSUAA, and role collections.
Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and functional teams to deliver business requirements.
Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities.
Follow DevOps practices using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and transport management services.
Required Skills
SAP BTP
Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP services.
Experience working with Cloud Foundry environment.
Knowledge of SAP Build, Destination Service, Connectivity Service, HTML5 Repository
Understanding of SAP BTP security concepts and role management.
SAPUI5 / SAP Fiori
Extensive experience in SAPUI5 and Fiori application development.
Strong knowledge of MVC architecture, OData V2/V4, JSON Models, Fragments, and Custom Controls.
Experience developing Fiori Elements and Freestyle applications.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori Launchpad and Work Zone.
CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
Hands-on experience with CAP application development using Node.js
Strong understanding of CDS modeling.
Experience exposing OData services through CAP.
Knowledge of service integration, validations, actions, and event handlers.
Database & Data Modeling
Good to have experience with SAP HANA Cloud or Postgres.
Expertise in SQL, CDS Views, database design, and performance tuning.
Experience with data migration and integration scenarios.
Understanding of database security and optimization techniques.
