Sr Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

SME - Microsoft Azure - IaaS, Azure Kubernetes Service
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for understanding the software requirements and developing it into a working source code accordingly. Solve technical challenges and understand the functional scope. Provide design and solutions for the business needs with adherence to coding standards. Perform code reviews across DevOps, platform, automation repositories to ensure quality, security, performance and optimizations Own production\'s reliability, availability and performance including incident response, Root cause analysis etc. Collaborate with the product owners and engineering teams to groom backlog and refine user stories. Collaborate with multi-platform/region teams on providing technical leadership, design reviews and hands own support Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production environments. Operating under a \'follow-the-sun\' model, providing on-call coverage within a global rotation. Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability of metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience in developing APIs using python flask and fastAPI framework. Expertise in API development & integration - including RESTful APIs, versioning and documentation. Strong experience conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards and best practices. Strong experience in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools preferably Github actions. Familiarity with frontend frameworks like REACT primarily for internal tools, dashboards or platform interfaces. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval. Experience with data quality frameworks and monitoring tools. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile development environment. Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills. Exposure to banking domain is a plus.
