Senior Test Engineer

Functional Testing : Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and interface specifications. Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. Execute Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT Support. Validate end-to-end transaction lifecycle across banking applications. Verify compliance with business and regulatory requirements. SIT (System Integration Testing) : Execute end-to-end integration testing across interconnected applications. Validate data flow between: Trustee Bank Systems Core Banking Systems Payment Gateways NPCI Interfaces Reconciliation Systems Reporting Systems Identify and report integration issues across upstream and downstream systems. UAT (User Acceptance Testing) : Coordinate with business users and stakeholders during UAT cycles. Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and closure. Validate business scenarios and ensure readiness for production deployment. Prepare UAT reports and sign-off documentation. Payments, Settlement & Reconciliation Testing Validate payment processing workflows and settlement cycles. Test accounting and ledger postings. Verify inward and outward transaction settlements. Validate reconciliation reports and exception handling processes. Ensure consistency of transaction data across integrated applications. Test maker-checker and authorization workflows. Defect Management : Log defects using Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Perform defect retesting and regression validation. Coordinate with development teams for issue resolution. Track defect lifecycle and SLA adherence. Banking / Financial Domain : Experience in Banking, Capital Markets, Financial Services, Payments, or Pension-related projects. Understanding of: Payment Processing Settlement Processes Reconciliation Workflows Accounting Entries Financial Transaction Lifecycle Regulatory and Compliance Testing Testing Skills
