Lead Xstore Testing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Xstore Testing based in India.

This role is ideal for an experienced QA professional with deep expertise in Oracle Xstore and a strong focus on delivering high-quality software.
You’ll take ownership of testing activities across functional, regression, mobile, cross-browser, and API testing.
The position combines hands-on testing with test planning, documentation, release validation, and quality improvement.
You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams within an Agile delivery environment.
Your expertise will help identify risks early, improve testing processes, and ensure reliable product releases.
The role also provides opportunities to mentor junior testers and contribute to the evolution of automation practices.
It’s a collaborative, client-facing position suited to a proactive problem solver who can work independently while driving quality outcomes.

• Own testing deliverables across projects, ensuring high-quality releases within an Agile environment.
• Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, mobile, cross-browser, and API testing activities.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance test cases, test plans, testing documentation, and regression suites.
• Perform hands-on testing of Oracle Xstore, with particular focus on V23+ and XOCS functional testing.
• Conduct mobile UI and functional testing across relevant platforms and devices.
• Execute API testing using Postman or equivalent tools and validate integrations and application behavior.
• Validate releases across major browsers and mobile platforms, identifying compatibility and functional issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Monitor and communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, defects, and escalations in a timely manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing approaches, and automation practices.
• Mentor and support junior testers, sharing knowledge and helping strengthen team capabilities.
• Investigate issues and contribute to effective resolution while maintaining a strong focus on overall product quality.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore, particularly version 23 and above.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices.
• Proven experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Strong experience in mobile UI and functional testing.
• Hands-on API testing experience using Postman or an equivalent tool.
• Experience working in Agile development and delivery environments.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr/Xray is desirable.
• Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge of Java is advantageous.
• Experience with Selenium automation is desirable.
• Experience building or enhancing test automation frameworks is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of testing activities and outcomes.
