Oracle fusion technical with OIC

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle Fusion Technical with OIC based in India.

As an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant, you will design, develop, integrate, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and connected enterprise systems. The role centers on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), with additional responsibility for customs and trade-related integrations, operational data stores, reporting, and data flows. You will translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions while working across APIs, web services, databases, and third-party platforms. You will also troubleshoot complex integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support critical production environments. The position offers the opportunity to work across both application integration and data-focused initiatives in a fully remote setting. Strong technical ownership and collaboration with functional, business, infrastructure, and external teams will be essential to success.

• Develop, customize, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and related technical solutions.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Build integrations between Oracle Fusion and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, XML, JSON, and related technologies.
• Develop scheduled, event-driven, and application-based integrations, including connections, mappings, lookups, fault handling, logging, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot failed integrations and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Support customs and trade-related integrations involving declarations, import/export transactions, shipments, trade documentation, and external logistics or customs systems.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand customs and trade requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop data integrations between Oracle Fusion and Operational Data Store (ODS) environments.
• Extract, transform, map, and validate data across Oracle Fusion, ODS, and downstream systems.
• Develop and support technical reports and data extracts using BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL, and related Oracle reporting technologies.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support, monitor integrations, and proactively identify performance or reliability issues.
• Coordinate with functional, business, infrastructure, and third-party teams to resolve incidents and technical problems.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management, as well as testing, releases, patches, and production deployments.
• Optimize integrations and data processes for performance, reliability, maintainability, accuracy, and consistency.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of overall experience in Oracle technical development and integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Proven experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP integrations and working with Oracle Fusion APIs and web services.
• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, XPath, data transformation, and file-based integrations.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle databases, and Operational Data Store (ODS) environments.
• Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, data models, queries, reporting, and data extraction.
• Strong understanding of integration monitoring, error handling, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
• Experience with SFTP/FTP and enterprise data interfaces.
• Experience working with customs, global trade management, or trade compliance processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion SCM, Procurement, Order Management, Inventory, Logistics, or Financials is an advantage.
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with logistics, customs, warehouse, or transportation systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud architecture and integration best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Oracle certifications in Fusion, OIC, or related technologies are advantageous.
• Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.
