Job description
Objective 1: Drive Technical Excellence in EV Product Evaluation & Validation
Key Results:
- Conduct technical evaluations of 100% of new EV models (motors, controllers, batteries) before market launch approval.
- Achieve ≥95% accuracy in identifying spec sheet discrepancies vs actual vehicle performance within 48 hours of inspection.
- Complete monthly benchmarking reports comparing motor efficiency, battery capacity claims, and controller performance across 5+ competitor models.
- Reduce field failure through proactive identification of technical issues during pre-sales evaluation.
Objective 2: Ensure Field-Informations and Technical Support & Issue Resolution
Key Results:
- Resolve of dealer/fleet technical queries (range degradation, charging issues, controller faults) within 24 hours.
- Conduct minimum 50 dealer/fleet site visits per month for hands-on vehicle inspections and technical training.
- Maintain comprehensive technical issue database with 100% logging of field observations and resolutions.
- Conducting the field trainings for internal team and external customers for new Initiatevs.
Objective 3: Build Competitive Intelligence & Market Technical Insights
Key Results:
- Deliver monthly competitive landscape reports covering E-rickshaw (regional & national brands) and 2W EV segments.
- Track and analyze 100% of government policy updates (FAME II successor schemes, state EV policies) impacting product positioning.
- Identify ≥3 actionable product improvement opportunities per quarter based on competitor analysis and customer feedback.
- Provide TCO analysis and financing impact assessment for all key product categories quarterly.
Objective 4: Enable Sales & Channel Teams with Technical Expertise
Key Results:
- Conduct technical training sessions per quarter for sales teams and channel partners.
- Develop and maintain updated technical FAQs, spec comparison sheets, and objection handling guides with 100% accuracy.
- Support of critical fleet/institutional sales pitches with on-ground technical presentations when required during the visit.
- Achieve ≥4.5/5 feedback score from sales team on technical support quality.
Objective 5: Ensure Compliance & Documentation Excellence
Key Results:
- Maintain 100% compliance with vehicle inspection checklists and technical audit protocols during field visits
- Submit weekly field visit reports and monthly technical MIS within defined timelines.
