Job Description:
Eastman Auto & Power Ltd is seeking a highly qualified Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee the security operations of our organization. The CSO will develop, implement, and manage security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our employees, assets, and sensitive information. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security management and risk assessment, as well as the ability to lead security initiatives across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security strategies and policies to protect the organization from internal and external threats.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and establish mitigation strategies.
- Manage and oversee the physical security measures, including surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response protocols.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure rapid response in the event of security incidents.
- Lead and train security personnel to maintain a high standard of security awareness and response across the organization.
- Create and maintain security budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to security and compliance.
- Prepare and present security reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting potential threats and the effectiveness of security measures.

Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and guide a team.
- Extensive knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency preparedness.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security strategies in large organizations.
- Familiarity with security technologies, such as CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex situations quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present security-related information to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing workplace security and privacy.
- Experience with incident response planning and crisis management.
- Proficient in using security management software and tools.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (such as CPP, PCI, or PSP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in security management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Leading incident response efforts and managing crisis situations effectively. Training employees on security protocols and best practices. Collaborating with law enforcement and regulatory bodies as necessary to enhance security measures.

To succeed in this role – you should have the following:
Proven experience in security management, preferably in a leadership role. Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage both the security team and cross-departmental collaboration. A proactive approach to identifying potential security threats and developing solutions. Relevant certifications in security management or related fields are highly desirable.
