Cyber Security Officer

The CSO will lead the information security strategy and initiatives for the company, ensuring the protection of our data assets and the integrity of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to various stakeholders.

Role

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive information security program that aligns with the organization's business objectives and complies with industry regulations and standards
2. Oversee the management of the organization's information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
3. Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of cyber security risks across the organization.
4. Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets.
5. Manage the incident response program, including the preparation, detection, and response to security incidents.
6. Collaborate with IT and business leaders to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and other business processes.
7. Stay informed about emerging security trends, technologies, and threats, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
8. Foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization through training and communication.
9. Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies as it pertains to information security.
10. Oversee the budget for the information security and ensure cost-effective security operations.
11. Serve as the primary point of contact for information security matters and represent the company in industry forums and with external stakeholders.

Education/Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
