Quality Assurance Leader- HIM IP (DRG)

Job Description:

• Strong knowledge of IP DRG coding, DRG validation, Principal Diagnosis selection, Secondary Diagnosis reporting, CC/MCC capture, and ICD-10-PCS coding.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Medical Coding and Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 6-12 months of experience in leading or managing a team.
• Manage, mentor, and support QA team members to achieve quality and operational goals.
• Perform second-level QA audits and ensure compliance with coding guidelines, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Analyze audit findings, identify quality trends, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Provide audit feedback, coaching, and education to coders and QA team members.
• Conduct quality calibrations and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and client review summaries.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, and Client stakeholders to improve coding accuracy and DRG integrity.
• Strong analytical, leadership, client reporting, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to manage team performance, prioritize workload, and drive continuous quality improvement.
