Job description

As a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager (Electrical) - Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading the electrical maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement maintenance strategies, manage resources, and enhance the overall efficiency of our electrical systems. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Skills Required

Developing PLC Programming on Siemens Sinumerik Controller & Mitsubishi PLC's, PLC - SCADA Programming, Electrical drive system

Role

  • Create and troubleshooting the CNC ladder logic programs for Siemens Sinumerik or FANUC control systems and Yaskawa systems.
  • Hands-on experience in developing PLC programs for large-scale machine functions using Siemens PLC systems.
  • Create user-friendly HMI screens, alarms, recipes, trends, and diagnostics for Siemens and Mitsubishi or delta automation systems.
  • Develop the electrical control circuits and panel wiring designs according to machine requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with VMC, CNC, automated conveyorized paint shop systems, laser cutting machines, robotic welding machines, and manual welding machines.
  • Hands on experience in electrical drive systems – VFD, Scada function.
  • Strong knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, SGA, Kaizen, and maintenance management systems.
  • Knowledge on energy conservation projects and problem-solving techniques.
  • Experienced in mentoring employees and promoting teamwork.
  • If TPM / TQM knowledge is appreciable.
  • If HT knowledge with C license is appreciable.

Diploma/B.Tech / B.E (EEE)
