Objective

To ensure that no one breaches the security protocol of Shalby Hospitals and training the team in a way that they are vigilant for any abnormal activity going on in the Shalby.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Duties & Functions

To report for duty in neat and clean dress. Light Shirt, Dark Trouser and Black Shoes are the recommended dress code for drivers.
To remain alert to receive calls without keeping the phone in engaged mode at any time during the duty hours.
To refuel the vehicle from authorized vendors using fleet card at required frequency.
To clean the vehicle from inside and outside during custody of the vehicle and while handover to next driver. Always during custody vehicle must remain clean.
To maintain the standard fuel efficiency of vehicle and always drive at safe speed as per vehicle operating manual guidelines
To maintain log book and make entry for each trip in book and properly should be handed over to next shift driver along with tallying of odometer in log book and ensuring availability of tool kit and other accessories, and spare wheel etc.
To ensure preventive maintenance of vehicle as per specification of vehicle manual
To ensure not to carry any items other than authorized inside the vehicle
To renew vehicle insurance, fitness certificate and pollution control certificate before its expiry
To ensure to carry a valid license as required and ensure self-renewal before its expiry
To intimate to the supervisor for any breakdown or damage of the vehicle immediately
To report any accident whatsoever small it is to the supervisor immediately.
During off wheel hours to assist in other activities related to auxiliary works in office and other premises as required by Operation team or reporting supervisor.
To maintain strict confidentiality of whereabouts, movements and communication of the senior officers travelling in the vehicle as a part of job ethics and integrity
While embarking and exiting the vehicle by senior staff, to asset open the door from outside and also to asset to carry luggage to the desired destination
To obey all the traffic rules and behave in extreme decency with public when on duty
Our vehicles are part of tobacco free area. Anyone using Tobacco in any form should be restricted.
To take part in training and drills conducted by organization
Always have to be focused, confident and observant with clean driving record.

To ensure safety of self and vehicle always. Safe Parking, Defensive Driving, usage of Seatbelt, restricted usage of Mobile etc., is a must.
The company driver will be assigned various duties, tasks, and responsibilities other than driving at the different work hours which he has to complete without any mistake.
Drivers are responsible for inspecting a vehicle prior to leaving the place where the vehicle is supposed to go. Once the driver leaves the facility with the vehicle, any damages found are the responsibility of the driver
Load and unload organization’s equipment’s/materials/documents and keep at desired place
Precisely finish all paper work connected with conveyance of materials carried
Transport products, materials, and staff securely to areas where they are needed and maintain record as given
Ensure timely conveyance of staff and materials to and from places as instructed by supervisor or the manager
To ensure that vehicles are kept perfect and clean at all times by washing both the inside and outside parts of the vehicle
Carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are sound
Recognize electrical and mechanical faults and report to the supervisor
Pay tolls and minor expenses of vehicle and keep the vouchers safely till handed over to Duty Supervisor.
To report attendance and extra duties if any to the supervisor before 26th of every month.
