Technical Lead - DevOps Engineer (AWS & CI/CD)

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong AWS Cloud and CI/CD expertise to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and platform operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing multi-region AWS environments, infrastructure automation, cloud-native services, and deployment processes across multiple environments.

This position is being added to help share operational responsibilities across the team and strengthen support for infrastructure, cloud operations, automation, and deployment activities.

Role

Key Responsibilities

AWS Cloud Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud solutions.
• Manage AWS services including ECS/EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Route 53, IAM, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, SNS/SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, KMS, and Multi-Region AWS architectures.
• Design and support multi-region AWS environments for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Implement and manage cross-region replication, failover strategies, and resilient cloud solutions.
• Monitor, optimize, secure, and troubleshoot AWS environments.

CI/CD & Automation

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate application deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and operational processes.
• Support deployments across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Implement and improve deployment strategies, including blue/green and rolling deployments.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve reliability, consistency, and deployment speed.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and deployment patterns.
• Manage Terraform state and import existing cloud resources into Terraform management.
• Support cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and environment standardization.

Monitoring & Operations

• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications using CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, and other observability tools.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Participate in operational support, incident management, and platform maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and operations.
• Proven experience supporting multi-region AWS environments, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
• Strong experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, and/or EKS.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, KMS, Secrets Manager, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience implementing automated deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, Route 53, DNS, Load Balancers, Security Groups, and routing.
• Experience with Git and source control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Experience implementing cross-region replication and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale AWS environments.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud database administration.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
