Tecnimont is seeking a skilled Engineer - QA/QC to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and products meet quality and safety standards in compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, identifying non-conformances, and implementing corrective actions to improve quality performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and standards in alignment with industry regulations and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, workmanship, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) for construction activities.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality records.
- Collaborate with project management and other teams to address quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance practices and requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, API).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
Tools and Technologies:
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with inspection and testing equipment, including non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Capability of using project management tools and software for tracking and reporting quality metrics.
- Knowledge of document management systems for maintaining quality documentation.
