Devops Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer Experience: Fresher Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Coimbatore Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA/MCA or equivalent Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer – Fresher to join our technical team. The candidate will support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment processes, monitoring, and on-premises server management. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in AWS, GCP, DevOps automation, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP. Support the development, configuration, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Work with GitLab, Jenkins, and Bitbucket for source code management and continuous integration/deployment. Assist with build tools and automated application build and deployment processes. Monitor applications, servers, and infrastructure using: Grafana Prometheus AWS CloudWatch ELK Stack (Elastic search, Log stash, Kibana) Uptime Kuma Assist in identifying and troubleshooting application, infrastructure, and deployment-related issues. Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform. Assist in managing and maintaining Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) environments. Support containerized application deployments and basic Kubernetes operations. Assist with on-premises server management, including server configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Work with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and resolve environment-related issues. Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Follow DevOps best practices related to automation, monitoring, security, availability, and reliability. Required Skills Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD practices. Hands-on or academic knowledge of AWS and/or GCP. Good understanding of Git and version control. Basic knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, and Bitbucket. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build processes. Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and server administration. Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes. Basic knowledge of Amazon EKS. Basic understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, ELK, and Uptime Kuma. Basic understanding of on-premises server management. Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as DNS, IP, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewalls. Basic scripting knowledge in Shell/Bash or Python. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and willingness to learn. Eligibility Freshers with 0–1 year of experience can apply. Candidates with relevant DevOps, Cloud, AWS, GCP, or Infrastructure projects/internships are preferred.
