Job Summary
As a Software Quality Engineer II, you will serve as a senior quality engineering professional responsible for driving testing strategy, automation excellence, and release confidence across complex Salesforce and Agentforce implementations. You will play a critical role in ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions by partnering with product, engineering, architecture, and business teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role requires advanced expertise in test planning, automation strategy, risk management, integration testing, AI solution validation, and quality governance. The successful candidate will be recognized as a trusted quality leader who influences engineering practices and continuously improves quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Test Leadership
Define comprehensive testing strategies for Salesforce, Agentforce, and integrated enterprise solutions.
Lead test planning activities across multiple initiatives and releases.
Establish quality objectives, coverage models, and release-readiness criteria.
Identify quality risks early and drive appropriate mitigation strategies.
Provide informed recommendations regarding release readiness and production deployment decisions.
Advanced Testing & Engineering
Design and oversee test coverage for complex end-to-end business processes.
Lead integration, API, data validation, and cross-platform testing efforts.
Validate AI-powered capabilities, including Agentforce workflows, conversational experiences, prompt-driven interactions, guardrails, and decision logic.
Drive adoption of risk-based testing and quality engineering best practices.
Automation & Innovation
Lead development of scalable automation frameworks and continuous testing solutions.
Improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and quality metrics.
Introduce AI-assisted testing approaches to improve productivity and effectiveness.
Establish testing standards and reusable frameworks supporting enterprise delivery.
Mentorship & Collaboration
Mentor and coach Quality Engineers across testing methodologies, automation, and quality practices.
Provide technical leadership during defect triage, root cause analysis, and release activities.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and Delivery Leaders to establish shared ownership of quality.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the quality engineering function.
Quality Governance
Define and monitor quality metrics, defect leakage trends, automation effectiveness, and release health indicators.
Contribute to quality audits, governance reviews, and organisational quality initiatives.
Support continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing production defects and increasing delivery confidence.

Demonstrated experience driving automation initiatives and quality improvements.
Experience mentoring and developing Quality Engineers.
Salesforce certifications and automation certifications are highly desirable.
