Job description
- Zippee is building India’s #1 Quick Commerce Logistics for consumer brands.
- Brands connect their online store to Zippee in just a few clicks & can kickstart 30-Min Delivery/120-Min/Same-Day Delivery for customers through our dark store network across India.
- Our team comprises folks from Reliance Retail, Retention Science, oracle, zomato, & institutions like Hindu College, BITS Pilani, and the University of Southern California.
- Backed by VCs & founders of India's biggest unicorns, including Ashneer Grover (BharatPe), Kunal Shah (CRED), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), and Prashant Pitti (easemytrip).
- We're looking for talented Software Engineers (Backend) in our Engineering team to build Zippee's tech platform from the ground up.

- This is an in-person role (M-F office | Saturday remote) at our Gurgaon HQ.
- As a backend developer at our fast-growing startup, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services that power our core products and operations. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver scalable APIs and data systems, troubleshoot technical challenges, and continuously improve reliability and performance.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a top or accredited college.
- 1-2 years of core backend experience at a SaaS/B2B tech company or startup.
- Working knowledge of Python, RESTful APIs, RDBMS, Django, MySQL, K8S and AWS concepts.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills & ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for technology and a desire to hustle it out in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A people person with gratitude & integrity.
- Prior knowledge/working experience with software products in Quick Commerce, Logistics, E-commerce SaaS, Warehousing, etc.
- Prior experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
