Senior C#/.NET Back-End Developer

Role Summary
Weâre looking for a hands-on Senior C#/.NET Back-End Developer to build, optimize, and scale core services that power a complex optimization/analytics platform. Youâll work closely with quant/OR experts and product stakeholders to translate algorithmic requirements into robust, production-grade services and APIs. This is a builder role with significant impact on reliability, performance, and extensibility.
What Youâll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs in C#/.NET (Core).
Implement data access layers (e.g., EF Core, Dapper) and optimize query performance.
Collaborate with operations research/quant teams to productionize algorithms and pipelines.
Introduce observability (structured logging, metrics, tracing) and performance profiling.
Harden services for reliability, resilience, and scale (caching, rate limiting, retries).
Write clean, testable code with unit/integration tests and CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to architecture decisions (microservices boundaries, API versioning, contracts).
Support secure coding practices and compliance.
What Youâll Bring
5+ years professional C#/.NET back-end development experience.
Strong knowledge of .NET 6+, Web API, async/await, multithreading, dependency injection.
Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query tuning).
CI/CD with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions; containerization with Docker (Kubernetes a plus).
Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) and distributed systems patterns.
Proven track record optimizing performance and reliability in production.
Excellent collaboration with product/quant/DevOps; strong documentation discipline.
Nice to Have
Exposure to optimization/analytics workloads or high-compute batch systems.
Security best practices (OWASP), secrets management, zero-downtime deploys.
Cloud experience (Azure preferred).
