Role: Native AI / ML Engineer (GenAI)
Role Summary
Seeking a mid-senior AI/ML Engineer with strong Generative AI experience to build and productionise GenAI-powered analytics solutions on top of enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Build GenAI / LLM-based solutions (Text-to-SQL, AI assistants, NLQ).
· Implement prompt engineering, RAG patterns, embeddings, vector search.
· Integrate AI solutions with Databricks, data lakes, enterprise data models.
· Develop production-grade services using Python and SQL.
· Support UAT, deployment, and operationalisation of AI features.
· Work closely with data engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders.
Required Skills
· 5+ years experience in AI/ML or advanced data engineering.
· Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs.
· Proficiency in Python and SQL.
· Experience with Databricks / Spark / Lakehouse platforms.
· Knowledge of RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector stores.
· Cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable).
Nice to Have
· Experience with Text-to-SQL or enterprise AI assistants.
· Exposure to Power BI / analytics layers.
· Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, governance, and security.
