Your Work Profile

An Axiom Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering elements of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. Awareness is expected of the important engineering principles of the Bank. Root cause analysis skills are developed through addressing enhancements and fixes to products. They attempt to build reliability and resiliency into solutions through early testing, peer reviews and automating the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using Core Java.
• Work with relational databases to design queries, manage data, and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and software development methodologies.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and application maintenance.

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
• Good experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience in Microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to any cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
