The Team
Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Murex Datamart reports and data models.
- Strong hands-on experience in Datamart (DM), MxML Exchange, and reporting modules.
- Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Murex tools.
- Develop and support regulatory, risk, PnL, FO/BO reports from Datamart.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize SQL queries and Datamart performance tuning.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office teams for reporting requirements.
- Handle data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting issues.
- Support UAT, production deployment, and post-production support.
- Participate in Murex upgrades, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Murex (preferably Mx3).
- Strong expertise in Datamart configuration (DM tables, feeders, extractors).
- Advanced knowledge of SQL / Oracle / PL-SQL.
- Experience with MxML workflows and data integration.
- Understanding of financial products (FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives).
- Knowledge of risk and PnL reporting.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Murex environment management and upgrades.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux scripting.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
Experience & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Murex Datamart or Capital Markets Support
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
