Job Title: Mechanical Production Engineer Location: Khopat, Thane, 400601 Job Summary: We're seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Production Engineer to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production processes. As a Production Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient production processes to maximize quality, safety, volume capacity, and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Process Improvement: Analyze existing production systems, identify areas of improvement, and propose solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Manufacturing Supervision: Oversee production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality. Collaboration and Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to optimize production, costs, and labor. Problem-Solving and Training: Identify and resolve production issues, provide solutions, and conduct staff training. Safety and Sustainability: Establish and enforce safety procedures for worker well-being and environmental sustainability. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry advancements and share knowledge with the team. Production Analysis: Review production data and recommend improvements. Procurement: Obtain necessary materials and equipment for production. Equipment Design: Design jigs, fixtures, tools, gauges, and other equipment needed for efficient manufacture of products. Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban to reduce waste and improve productivity. Requirements: - Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD software. - Experience: Proven background in engineering and production roles, with at least 2-3 years of experience. - Skills: - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities. - Expertise in sheet metal fabrication processes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
