Job description

Job Title: AI Engineer (1–3 years)

Location: Hyderabad / Remote

Department: AI & Data Science

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Type: Full-Time

Role Summary:

As an AI Engineer, you will work on models that analyze both images and farm data. These could include images from diagnostic tools, sensor readings, and farm logs. You will help build and deploy AI models for tasks like image classification, anomaly detection, and data checks.

Key Responsibilities:

Image Analysis:

● Build and train AI models (CNN, YOLO, CLIP, etc.) to classify aquaculture-related images

● Clean and prepare images using techniques like cropping and background removal

● Use and fine-tune pre-trained models or combine multiple models for better results

● Package and deploy models using Flask or FastAPI

● Keep improving models based on feedback from consultants and farm teams

Data Analysis:

● Build end-to-end data pipelines to clean, transform, and validate structured and semi-structured datasets from various sources. This includes anomaly detection, missing value handling, and enforcing business logic through queries and rules.

● Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and root causes of data issues, and design algorithms using statistical, rule-based, and ML techniques to automate detection and insights.

● Develop dashboards, alerting systems, and visualization tools to monitor data health and model performance, and collaborate with domain experts and engineers to ensure scalable, production-ready solutions.

Required Skills:

● 1–3 years of experience in AI/ML (or strong portfolio for freshers)

● Python programming with NumPy, pandas, OpenCV, scikit-learn

● Experience with deep learning libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow

● Knowledge of REST API deployment

● Deep understanding of SQL and document databases

● Basic knowledge of Neo4j or interest in learning

● Clear communication and documentation habits

Nice to Have:

● Experience with biological, medical, or farming-related data

● Understanding of CLIP or other prompt-based models

● Experience with lightweight model deployment (e.g., TensorFlow Lite)

● Familiarity with Git and working in teams

Eligibility:

● B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, AI/ML, ECE, Data Science, or similar

● Internship or project work in image analysis or data validation

● Willingness to learn and work independently
