Role Overview
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in building modern, responsive, and scalable web applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3, along with a solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, reusable components, and responsive design.
You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business and design requirements into high-quality frontend experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.
- Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, production-ready code.
- Develop responsive interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3.
- Work with REST APIs and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement frontend best practices around component architecture, state management, code quality, and reusability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI, functional, and performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume APIs effectively.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements where relevant.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
- Strong experience with Next.js.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience building responsive web applications for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Good understanding of React Hooks, component lifecycle, props, state, and reusable components.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
- Good knowledge of Git/version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Exposure to state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap, or similar UI frameworks.
- Understanding of Next.js SSR, SSG, ISR, and routing.
- Exposure to frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD and cloud deployment environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
