Job Summary:

Solytics Partners is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python/ Java and hands-on experience with Selenium. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python or Java
Automate API, UI, and integration test cases
Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
Develop reusable test utilities and improve automation coverage
Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and design discussions
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards

Key Requirements:

Strong programming skills in Python or Java
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as: Selenium / Playwright

REST API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, PyTest, etc.)

Experience in API testing and automation
Good understanding of test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Knowledge of SQL and database testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Experience in data platforms / analytics products (Nimbus domain exposure is a plus)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust, etc.)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Understanding of Docker / Kubernetes
