Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to serve as Senior Manager, Software Engineering. This role is accountable for end-to-end delivery across Azure Cloud, modern web applications, Salesforce, and payment platforms. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with disciplined execution, build high-performing engineering teams, and coordinate complex initiatives across multiple functions and geographies. This leader will translate business priorities into scalable technology outcomes while strengthening engineering practices, operational resilience, security, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution: Own planning, architecture alignment, engineering delivery, testing, release readiness, production launch, and post-production stabilization for a portfolio of strategic initiatives.

• Drive multi-platform delivery: Provide leadership across Azure Cloud services, web application ecosystems, Salesforce capabilities and integrations, and payment processing platforms.

• Translate strategy into outcomes: Partner with product, business, architecture, security, risk, operations, and infrastructure leaders to convert priorities into roadmaps, executable plans, and measurable results.

• Strengthen engineering excellence: Champion scalable architecture, secure coding, automation, CI/CD, observability, performance engineering, reliability, and disciplined software development lifecycle practices.

• Build high-performing teams: Recruit, develop, coach, and retain engineers; establish clear expectations, empower decision-making, and create succession and capability-development plans.

• Coordinate globally: Align teams, vendors, dependencies, and stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones, ensuring clear ownership, effective handoffs, and timely escalation of risks and decisions.

• Manage delivery health: Establish transparent governance for scope, schedule, quality, budget, capacity, dependencies, risks, and technical debt; use metrics to guide decisions and continuous improvement.

• Own operational outcomes: Ensure platforms meet availability, resilience, security, compliance, recovery, and support expectations; lead effective incident response and root-cause remediation.

• Influence technology direction: Evaluate emerging technologies, guide build-versus-buy decisions, and shape modernization plans that balance innovation, maintainability, cost, and risk.

• Communicate with impact: Provide concise, data-driven updates to senior leaders and stakeholders, surfacing trade-offs and enabling timely decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Proven technology delivery experience, including significant experience leading engineering teams across multiple projects/initiatives in parallel.

• Demonstrated success delivering complex, enterprise-scale programs from concept through production and ongoing operations.

• Strong working knowledge of Azure Cloud architecture and services, cloud-native design, integration patterns, APIs, and DevSecOps practices.

• Experience overseeing modern web application delivery, including front-end, back-end, security, performance, accessibility, and production support considerations.

• Experience with Salesforce platforms, custom development, integrations, release management, and governance.

• Experience with payment ecosystems, including transaction flows, integrations, reconciliation, resiliency, security, and regulatory or control requirements.

• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, resolve cross-team dependencies, and lead distributed teams across geographies.

• Strong financial, vendor, resource, risk, and change-management capabilities.

• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
