Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and execution of application and data migration strategies, ensuring that solutions are scalable and deliver high performance. The position involves coordinating with various stakeholders to implement cloud technologies that support advanced business objectives, while continuously monitoring and optimizing the migration process to achieve seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of migration strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of migration milestones.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and resolving technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Cloud Services, Oracle Database Architecture.
- Strong expertise in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for database environments.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
