Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all relevant components are effectively incorporated. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration between various systems and data models. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals, fostering a cohesive and efficient data environment. The engineer plays a vital role in shaping the infrastructure that supports data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and understanding of the data platform.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures using cloud-based platforms.
- Experience in integrating diverse data sources and ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.
- Ability to optimize data workflows and pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices to maintain compliance and security.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex data platform issues and providing effective resolutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
