We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Information Security Intern to assist our team in implementing information security policies and controls and supporting ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2 audits. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in information security, compliance, and audit processes within a dynamic ITES environment.

Information Security Implementation:

· Assist in the development and maintenance of information security policies, procedures, and controls.

· Support the team in conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions.

· Participate in periodic reviews of security controls and compliance checks.

ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Compliance:

· Assist in preparing documentation and evidence required for ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2 audits.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.

· Track and monitor the progress of audit findings and recommendations.

Training and Awareness:

· Support in designing and delivering security awareness training for employees.

· Assist in maintaining records of training sessions and feedback.

Incident Management:

· Aid in documenting and responding to security incidents under the guidance of the infosec team.

· Support investigations and root cause analysis for reported incidents.

Vulnerability and Risk Management:

· Assist in maintaining the vulnerability assessment schedule and tracking remediation efforts.

· Work with teams to ensure timely resolution of identified risks.

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.

· Strong understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts and frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, etc.).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
